The Firm
LLORÉNS ABOGADOS law firm was founded in 1959 by renowned lawyer César Lloréns Barges and started out in the field of Maritime Law.
From 1979 to 2001 various professionals joined us, making Lloréns Abogados the largest legal advisory firm in the Canary Islands, with offices in Madrid and Casablanca (Morocco).
After Lloréns Abogados merged with legal advisors Díaz de Aguilar, most of the members later joined the leading law firm in Continental Europe, J&A Garrigues, and five of the Lloréns Díaz de Aguilar lawyers became partners of this firm. Among them was Juan Manuel Lloréns Betancor, who decided to form his previous firm once more after completing his time at Garrigues.
Today the professional activity of the Firm covers a number of areas such as Commercial Law, Tax Law, Employment Law, Public Law, Insolvency Law, Civil Law, Litigation and Arbitration, and Internet and IT Law. All of these specialisms are headed by a partner.
